Thirsty Dog to host cheese pairing event

Thirsty Dog Brewing Co. in Akron will host a cheese pairing party Feb. 25 with Lucky Penny Farm Creamery. The event, set for 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., will pair five cheeses with Labrador Lager, Irish Setter Red, Cerberus, Citra Dog and Rise of Mayan Dog.

The tasting will feature brewery co-owner John Najeway and Lucky Penny's Abbe Turner talking about the beer and cheese.
