Craft Beer Heads schedules bacon and beer trip
Craft Beer Heads has put together a trip for anybody who loves bacon and beer. The party bus has scheduled a Jan. 17 excursion that will feature visits to the Bourbon Street Barrel Room, Brick and Barrel, and Happy Dog/Euclid Tavern in Cleveland. At each stop, there will be bacon and beer.
“Bacon and beer. That’s almost a match made in heaven,” Craft Beer Heads’ “Grand Poohah” Ron Emser said. “Bacon and beer are among my three favorite things in life.”
The Bourbon Street Barrel Room stop will include cheese and bacon soup; while the visits to Brick and Barrel and Happy Dog will include bacon pizza and bacon desserts, respectively. Of course, there will be beer at each stop, as well.
The trip runs from 1 to 5 p.m. Tickets are $55. Seating is limited to 35 people.

Craft Beer Heads is planning a similar bacon-beer excursion in the Akron area in February. Emser said the bacon-beer trips may become a regular offering, depending on the response.
