A Day at Gateway

A Day at Gateway

A Day at Gateway // girl about columbus

A couple of weekends ago, my lil' family and I ventured to The Gateway for some lunch, treats, and shopping. This quaint area, located one block off North High Street between 9th and 11th Streets, is not just for the college kids these days – there are many great places to eat, shop, and work out. You may know it for the Gateway Film Center and/or the Barnes & Noble that are located there.

gatewayWe started our day with lunch at FUSIAN, a casual + affordable sushi spot in which you are able to craft your own rolls. Nic and I's shrimp tempura/salmon rolls with asparagus, avocado, and cream cheese were so yummy – both complete with a side of edamame and lavender lemonade.

Fusian-sushiNext stop was Berry Blendz – a favorite stop of mine in The Gateway for years – they make awesome smoothies and juices. My favorite is Choco-o-Nutter – made with almond milk, chocolate, banana, peanut butter, and frozen yogurt. It's like dessert it's so good and such a treat!
